The superior product that is marketed is in the form of organically grown rice. Its trademark is “GALIH BALI”, with organic certificate no. 010-LSPO-005-IDN-12-15. This rice is produced by the Somya Pertiwi Farmers Group, Wangaya Betan-Tabanan-Bali.

There are three types of local rice being marketed, namely: brown rice (sandalwood type), white rice, and black rice. All these types of rice only grow well in the Mengesta village and surrounding areas. The three types of rice that are marketed have a distinctive taste and aroma, are very tasty, and have many health benefits.
